Dear Cruz,
This month your love of learning and adventurous personality has shown through even more! Just for fun we added to the word list I showed in this letter to you . It’s so crazy to me that in the last 4 months your word count has more than quadrupled!
I think after this point it’s going to be difficult to keep track of your words but I’m glad we kept a list going up until now! When I was younger I would always ask your Mimi (my mom) what my first words were so this is why I really wanted you to have a list!
This month we said goodbye to summer and welcomed fall with open arms! We’ve been really making the most of this fabulous weather by taking longer walks and visiting different playgrounds in our area.
Your Aunt Nana (my sister Brianna) came to visit for a whole week! You two got to spend a lot of extra time bonding and we had the best time with her visiting. Now all we have to do is convince her and your Uncle David to move here! :)
We spent a day with your Aunt Nana at the Children’s Museum on Navy Pier. We took you there last winter when you were much younger and you enjoyed it even more this time! Your favorite room is always the water room! I think you’d probably spend half the day playing in our bathroom sink at home if we let you!
Lately you’ve been obsessed with shoes! You definitely have your favorites and it’s so fun to start to see you take an interest in making choices for yourself.
In this picture you picked out your outfit, I helped get you dressed and you ran to the mirror to check yourself out. Hahah! You are such a ham!
You are still just as cuddly as ever and love sleeping on Mom and Dad whenever you get the chance.
You and your dad’s relationship is so special. I love seeing the way you two interact and how excited you are when you see him out the window getting home from work.
You love sweet treats, automobiles, planes and trains, dancing, running and climbing, making messes everywhere and trying to unlock the doors with our keys. You want to do everything by yourself! If you see us using chopsticks you need a pair to eat with!
This coming month is sure to be loads of fun! I can’t wait to take you to the pumpkin patch, sip on apple cider while making pumpkin bread, pick out Halloween costumes and make the very most of my favorite season with you…
